SH1FT Creative Team: Rachel Sidney

Today we’re featuring another INCREDIBLE new talent on our creative team, Rachel Sidney from Arkansas.

Rachel is the owner of Super Sleek Fitness where she keeps her community active teaching both virtual and live classes. She’s a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, an ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor and a STRONG NATION Master Trainer.

Rachel an incredibly talented Instructor and workout programmer. What stands out to us, is her ability to create a workout that gives you a true sense of personal and group achievement. When you do a class created by Rachel, not only will you feel a huge sense of personal achievement, you’ll have built a strong connection with your class goers that will last long after the workout is over.

Without further ado, meet Rachel:

1. Tell us about yourself: 

Married, mother of 2 tiny humans. I got into group fitness to stay active and have adult interaction when I transitioned out of the military into full time motherhood. 

2. Where/how do you teach?

I teach virtually from my home and at a few facilities in Conway, AR. 

3. What's your favourite SH1FT workout or format?

My favorite SH1FT format to teach is M1ND. 

4. What's your favourite thing about SH1FT?

The freedom it gives instructors and the focus on being fit for life. 

5. What does ‘fitness for life’ mean to you?

Staying active through all seasons of life. 

5. What does diversity mean to you, and why is it important in fitness?

Diversity is being all inclusive and intentional about making space for those who aren’t traditionally showcased or supported in the fitness world. It’s important that we’re open to other body types, cultural backgrounds, etc., so that we create an environment where everyone is welcome and no one is ashamed into thinking exercise isn’t for them.
